GOALS: To produce a solid, confident reiner to compete at the highest
level it's ability allows. To maintain integrity with customers
and the horses they entrust to our care. To offer a superior
quality training program at an affordable price.
GENERAL
INFORMATION: Hull Performance Horses is "dedicated
to great beginnings." Chris takes a limited number of horses
for training each month. This helps insure a fair and solid
beginning for each horse coming to Hull Performance Horses for
training. Each horse has a training program based upon their
individual needs and the owner's goals. Owners complete a questionnaire
at the beginning of the training process to assure that they
and Chris are on the same path with the training goals. Horses
are taught the basics to the advanced. Horses in training are
groomed daily and learn how to be a relaxed, fun horse to ride.
Trail rides and pasture loping are part of the colts early training.
Chris understands that many who have horses in training do not
have the facilities, such as an arena, to ride in once their
horse is home. Our goal is to send a horse home that the owner
can feel safe riding in any environment they might encounter.
To have a horse that anyone can ride, not just the trainer.
NON
PRO/AMATEUR PROGRAM: Lessons are included in training fees.
There is no limit on the number of lessons although an appointment
needs to be made for those. Depending on the experience of the
rider and the needs of their horse, lessons may be given on
a horse other than the one in training. To become successful
in the show pen the non pro rider must learn good horsemanship
skills and the training techniques Chris implements in their
horse's program. Unlimited lessons helps insure this. More advanced
non pros whom do not keep their horses in training full time
are welcome to haul their horse in for lessons. Chris
is also available for clinics on or off the farm.
Green horse/rider combinations are welcome at Hull Performance
Horses. Although this can be a difficult situation, success
can be achieved with hard work, determination, and dedication.
Riders with older, show pen sour horses are also welcome at
Hull Performance Horses for re-training/re-freshening
work.
OWNERS/BREEDERS/NON RIDERS: Futurity programs are available
for those who have no interest in showing themselves but would
like the prestige and notoriety of watching the horses they
have bred and raised compete. For breeders whose stallions have
some success in the show pen that means increased mare interest
in booking to their stallion. For breeders who put points or
money earnings on their mares that means increased future foal
value.
Hull Performance Horses competes at the local, state, and national
levels and is home of AQHA & APHA point earners, NRHA money
earners, NRCHA money earners, NRCHA World Show Qualifiers, Tennessee
Reining Horse Association Champions, Bluegrass Reining Horse
Association Champions, Palomino World Show Top Ten placers,
AQHA & APHA ROM earners, APHA Superiors, AQHA World Show
Qualifiers, and Tennessee Quarter Horse Association State and
Reserve Champions.
Hull Performance Horses can assist you in finding a horse to
suit your individuals needs. We can also evaluate your present
horse in order to see if it will meet your training/showing
goals.
